Latibule Coffee is a cozy café tucked away in Ara Damansara that feels like stepping into a quieter, bygone era. The wood-accented interiors and soft jazz vinyl sounds create a relaxed atmosphere reminiscent of vintage Japanese coffee spots from the 80s and 90s. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in for an afternoon of reading, focused work, or slow conversations without the usual buzz of busier cafes.

The crowd here tends to be a mix of locals looking for a calm break or a comfortable spot to work—they appreciate that plug points are thoughtfully placed, but it’s best to drop by during off-peak hours (before noon or after early afternoon) to avoid the mid-day rush, when seating can get limited. The café’s vibe encourages keeping noise levels low, so it’s suited for anyone wanting to unwind or concentrate rather than large, boisterous groups.

Coffee-wise, Latibule offers a solid selection with some favorites standing out, such as their dirty latte. Pairing your drink with one of their desserts, like the egg pudding, adds to the unhurried experience. The friendly, attentive staff are knowledgeable without being overbearing, striking a nice balance between warm hospitality and respectful quiet.

Located within a mixed residential and commercial zone, this spot has carved out a niche for those wanting to slow down in Petaling Jaya’s fast-paced environment. If you appreciate a space that supports both casual catch-ups and productive work sessions in equal measure—especially with a soundtrack of gentle jazz—it fits neatly into the daily rhythms of people nearby.

Prolly the coziest cafe i’ve visited in a very long time and the interior/wood deco of the cafe with jazz music playing in the background very much reminded me of a vintage 80-90s Japanese cafe. Coffee was decent and service was attentive during my visit but definitely need to visit during the non-peak period hours (peak period: 1-2pm+) for a more comfortable experience as it can get pretty busy during the peak period. All in all, very pleased with the overall experience at the cafe. Recommended!

The chill, dim vibe is perfect for slowing down and rewinding whenever life feels too fast, I come here to calm my mind and find my pace again. It’s also a great spot to get some work done (they have plug points!), but please do not work here if it is crowded ! What really sets this place apart are the thoughtful rules handcrafted coffee, curated music and a keep-voice low ! The music, often chosen by the "bosshandsome" is a fantastic blend of jazz and 80s/90s hits that I absolutely love. And the coffee? Always on point. It’s clear they care deeply about quality This cafe is a true gem for anyone needing a reset

Atmosphere is amazing: the lighting, the jazz vinyl music makes it a great place to chill and to catch up with friends. The boss and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. A must visit for coffee enthusiasts and just about anyone looking for a good and chill vibe. The egg pudding and dirty latte are my personal favourites here. It’s a rare and hidden gem definitely worth checking out.

This is a very good cafe that I will always be back when I’m around this area. It’s well known for their dirty latte and they have a lot of nice desserts. They have a wide range of coffee selections too. The environment is super cozy and I’m sure everyone will like it, highly recommended!

This cafe is an absolute gem. The coffee, tea and cakes are delicious and clearly made with care. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet welcoming with curated music (often jazz) that sets the perfect mood. What makes it even more special is the owner. Although young, he is friendly, calm and collected, and you can see he is 110% dedicated to what he does. His passion and attention to detail shine through in every aspect of the cafe, from the ambience to the quality of the food and drinks. Not surprising the place is thriving. Definitely one of the best around. Highly recommend.

Cozy vibes! Reminded me of a more modern version of Morihico in Sapporo. I think there used to be a cold brew bar here before this? One of the rare places that serve specialty dark roast. Not a huge fan of it so went for the filter coffee, which was okay.

Nice, cozy place. It was right near the bus stop so if you ever consider taking public transport, it is possible. I ordered the iced Americano and their famous flan. The coffee was okay, the flan was a bit too sweet for my taste but the coffee eventually cancelled out the sweetness a bit so it was okay. But for my taste I still wish them would tune down a bit on the sweetness. Other than that the place is really nice, good ambiance and good music, I spent 2 hours studying here, recommended.
